Andreas Helmling
Andreas Helmling (born June 9, 1959 in Heidelberg ; † August 19, 2019 ) was a concrete and abstract sculptor and designer .
Life
Helmling went to school in Mannheim . From 1979 to 1988 he studied art education - graduating with a state examination in 1984 - then free sculpture at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe , master student of Otto Herbert Hajek in 1988, 1987 guest study of experimental film with Peter Kubelka, Städelschule Frankfurt. Helmling lived and worked as a freelance artist in Hördt in the Palatinate since 1992 .
