Andrei Wassiljewitsch Kuteikin ( Russian Андрей Васильевич Кутейкин ; born September 30, 1984 in Saratov , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Spartak Moscow in the Continental Hockey League since May 2018 .

Career

Kuteikin began his career at Kristall Saratow . Between 2002 and 2005 he was both in the second team of Salawat Yulayev Ufa from the Pervaya League and at Kristall Saratow in the Vysschaya League , where he mainly played between 2003 and 2005, to use. In the 2004/05 season, the defender came to his first appearances in the professional team of Salawat Julajew Ufa, for which he has played since then. In his debut season, he was also the defender with the highest points on his team. He celebrated his first major title by winning the Russian championship in the 2007/08 season.

In 2011 he won the Gagarin Cup with Salawat Julajew , the championship trophy of the Continental Hockey League , and contributed a total of 25 scorer points to this success. During the following two seasons he suffered from several injuries, so that he missed many games.

From June 2013 Kuteikin was under contract with SKA Saint Petersburg and won his second Gagarin Cup with it in 2015. In the summer of 2016, his contract with SKA expired and Kuteikin initially moved to HK Awangard Omsk before joining HK Dynamo Moscow in October of the same year as part of a player exchange . By the end of the 2017/18 season, he had played 82 KHL games for Dynamo.

In May 2018 he moved to HK Spartak Moscow within the KHL .
