Andrew Divoff
Andrew Divoff (born July 2, 1955 in San Tome ) is a Venezuelan actor who is mainly hired for roles as a villain.
Career
Divoff was best known for his portrayal of the Djinn in Wes Craven's Wishmaster and the sequel Wishmaster 2 - Evil Never Dies . In addition, he had numerous appearances in television series such as Alias - Die Agentin , JAG - On behalf of the honor or Lost . In CSI: Miami he played the Russian mafia boss Ivan. Divoff starred alongside Jeffrey Combs in Jeff Broadstreet 's horror comedy Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation in 2012 .
Divoff speaks eight languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Catalan, Portuguese and Russian. His language skills are widely used in the roles he embodies.
Private life
Divoff was married to the Russian actor Raissa Danilova. He was also engaged to the Russian model and horror writer Marina Drujko.
