Angela Hennessy

Angela Hennessy (* 1953 in Portsmouth ) is an English painter and freelance artist. She currently lives and works in Hanover .

Life

At the age of 18, Hennessy moved to Germany in 1971 . From 1976 to 1983 she studied at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and at the Braunschweig University of Art . From 1985 to 1993 Hennessy lived and worked in Tokyo , where he received two years later in 1995 a living and work grant for Shūhō (today: Shūhō-chō, Mine ), Yamaguchi Prefecture .

In 2003 Angela Hennessy moved to Washington, DC in the United States , where she opened her own studios in Bethesda, MD and in parallel in Hanover . She opened her art gallery in December 2012 in the Calenberger Neustadt district .

In 2009 Hennessy returned to Germany.
