Anja Graefenstein

Anja Gräfenstein (* 8. October 1981 in Schwerin as Anja Boche ) is a German actress and spokesperson.

Career

Graefenstein grew up in Schwerin . She studied acting at the Hanover University of Music and Theater . While still a student she played alongside Ulrich Tukur and Eva Mattes the Lucy from Brecht's Threepenny Opera at Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater . Engagements at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and the Schauspiel Essen followed . She took part in productions by Roger Vontobel , Rafael Sanchez and David Bösch . With Bösch's production of Shakespeare's Midsummer Night 's Dream , Graefenstein won the Munich theater prize “ Radikal Jung ”.

At the same time, Gräfenstein began shooting for television. 2007 she starred in the ZDF - Telenovela Path to Happiness . Her role as Nora van Weyden was voted the most popular series character by viewers. She has appeared in films such as My Sister's Father , Dancing My Mother, and Bye At Rose Abbey . She also played numerous episode roles in well-known TV series such as Mord mit Aussicht , Großstadtrevier or Ein Starkes Team .

Graefenstein remained loyal to the theater. This was followed by engagements at the Ernst Deutsch Theater (Hamburg) , the Renaissance Theater (Berlin) , the Comedy on Kurfürstendamm (Berlin) or at the Schlossparktheater (Berlin) with Dieter Hallervorden . In 2016 she was seen across Germany as Gina in the play "Der Mentor" by Daniel Kehlmann at the side of Volker Lechtenbrink . She also works as a spokesperson for advertising, TV documentaries and audio books.

Until 2016, Graefenstein performed under her maiden name Boche. After marrying the author and director Andreas Graefenstein , she gave up her maiden name. She lives in Berlin and has one daughter.
