Anna Katharina Schwabroh

Anna Katharina Schwabroh (born October 21, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

Anna Katharina Schwabroh's love for the theater began with a visit to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg . When she was 11, she saw the Robert Wilson's productions The Black Rider and later Time Rocker and Alice . Schwabroh was deeply impressed by these productions and she really wanted to get to know the theater better. She gained insights backstage by doing internships at the Thalia Theater. The desire to act on stage germinated in her. She gained her first stage experience before studying acting as a singer in the Hamburg band Alto .

From 2002 to 2006 she completed her acting studies at the Bern University of the Arts . She received her diploma with distinction. Engagements have taken her to the Schauspielhaus Zurich , the Lucerne Theater and the Theaterfabrik Hamburg, among others .

She worked in television productions, including in Tatort and Notruf Hafenkante . Schwabroh plays the leading role in the Swiss movie Cargo . In the summer of 2009 she played Klärchen in the operetta Im Weißen Rössl on the Kreuzlingen lake stage on Lake Constance . In summer 2010 she was a guest at the Berliner Ensemble in the musical Die Inselkomödie .

Since 2010 she has been a permanent member of the Detmold State Theater . In the 2011/2012 season she is u. a. as Mae in the production The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof and as Recha in Nathan the Wise . She also plays Pauline Piperkarcka in Gerhart Hauptmann's Die Ratten and the title role in the musical Irma la Douce .
