She made the leap into the top of the world in 2003 when she competed in the Polish national dress for the first time at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and came in sixth. She quickly grew into a competitor of Monika Pyrek , and so one can say that a similar sporting competition between Rogowska and Pyrek is taking place in Poland as in Russia between Svetlana Feofanova and Jelena Isinbayeva .

At the World Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis Pyrek was able to assert himself with a fourth place compared to the seventh place of Rogowska in the domestic Polish competition. Isinbayeva became world champion with the new world record height of 5.01 m, and the silver medal went to Monika Pyrek. At the 2006 World Indoor Championships in Moscow, Rogowska won silver.
