Annarode is a district of Mansfeld in the west of the Mansfelder Land in Saxony-Anhalt .

history

Annarode is said to have been mentioned in writing as early as 1400. There is a hundred-year-old oak tree and an arboretum with rare trees and shrubs in the village . On the outskirts there is a 1.6 km long asphalt run for roller skis and skating as well as a toboggan run. The stump of a tower windmill was converted into a residential building. Almost 500 people live in the small town.

To the south of Annarode are the Herchensole , Schaubesfelde and Utenfelde desert areas .

On January 1, 2005, Annarode was incorporated into the city of Mansfeld.
