Anne Mahrer (born June 5, 1948 in Geneva , resident in Egg and Geneva) is a Swiss politician ( Greens ).

biography

Mahrer was a member of the Municipal Council in Puplinge from March 1987 to March 2002 and of the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva from November 2001 to November 2013 . She was President of the Grand Council from November 2006 to November 2007. Mahrer was also President of the Geneva Greens from March 2008 to March 2010.

On November 28, 2013, she moved up to the National Council for Antonio Hodgers, who had resigned . She was not re-elected in the 2015 National Council elections and was replaced by Lisa Mazzone , 40 years her junior .

The retired qualified librarian lives in Puplinge. She is married and has two kids.
