Celine Amaudruz (born March 15, 1979 in Geneva ; resident in Lutry ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

biography

Amaudruz studied law and works as an asset manager . Politically, she began her career in the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva from October 2009 to October 2011. She was elected to the National Council in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2011 and re-elected in 2015. From 2011 to 2015 she had a seat on the municipal council of the municipality of Puplinge . Amaudruz was also canton president of SVP Geneva from August 2010 to April 2016. Since April 2016, she has been Vice President of the National Executive Committee of the Swiss People's Party.

In 2013, in a motion submitted on September 23, Amaudruz demanded with 20 co-signatories that people convicted of “serious crimes” should be implanted with an electronic chip, which has a deterrent effect on potential repeat offenders. The Federal Council rejected the motion, and the National Council followed this recommendation on September 21, 2015.
