Roger Golay
Roger Golay (born September 23, 1959 in Geneva ; resident in Le Chenit ) is a Swiss politician ( MCG ). From December 2, 2013, until he was voted out of office in 2019, he represented the canton of Geneva in the National Council , where he joined the SVP parliamentary group and thereby received a seat on the security policy commission.
Golay was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva from 2005 to 2013 and Lancy's municipal council from 2007 to 2015 . In 2013 he moved up to the National Council for the MCG National Councilor, Mauro Poggia, who was elected to the Geneva executive . From 2011 to 2014 he was party president of the MCG.
Golay is a retired police officer. He is married and has two children.
