Anthony Barylla (born June 1, 1997 in Gera ) is a German football player . The full-back is under contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken from the 2019/20 season .

Career

Anthony Barylla started playing football at SV Schmölln. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he moved to the youth department of RB Leipzig. After the U23 team withdrew from play at the end of the 2016/17 season, Barylla moved to the third division FSV Zwickau for the 2017/18 season , where he signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2019. Barylla played his first game for Zwickau on July 23, 2017 in the league game against Chemnitzer FC .

The defender signed a contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken for the 2019/20 regional league season . With the club, he was successful in both the fourth-class regional soccer league Southwest , where the team took the lead in the standings early in the season and with several points ahead of pursuers SV Elversberg and TSV Steinbach until the break as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany Haiger defended, as well as in the DFB-Pokal 2019/20 . As a defender, he played from the second round onwards in all games of the club, which reached the semi-finals as the first fourth division in the history of the competition thanks to successes against the Bundesliga clubs 1. FC Köln and Fortuna Düsseldorf and the second division club Karlsruher SC .

His father André also played in the years 1991–1992 and 1993–1999 for FSV Zwickau.
