Mergim Fejzullahu (born March 29, 1994 in Friborg , Switzerland ) is an Albanian football player . He is under contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken .

Career

Fejzullahu played for TSV Solingen-Aufderhöhe until 2010, before moving to the youth department of Fortuna Düsseldorf . In his first season for Düsseldorf (2010/2011) he was the top scorer in the U17 Lower Rhine League with 25 goals.

On May 25, 2013 he made his debut in the fourth-class football regional league West for the 2nd team from Fortuna. In the 1-1 draw against the 2nd team of MSV Duisburg , he came into the running game for Marcel Hofrath in the 79th minute . Until 2016 he played for the second representation of Fortuna, before moving to Alemannia Aachen within RL West .

In total, he played two seasons for Aachen in RL West. In both seasons he was Alemannia's most successful goalscorer. In 2018 he reached the final in the Middle Rhine Cup with Aachen , which was lost 2-0 after extra time against FC Viktoria Köln .

In June 2018, Eintracht Braunschweig announced the commitment of Fejzullahu. He made his debut in the 3rd division on July 27, 2018, the 1st matchday. In the 1-1 draw against Karlsruher SC , he came on the field in the 79th minute of play for Ivan Franjić . His current contract with Eintracht runs until 2020.

On December 20, 2018, Eintracht informed him that he was "released from training for this week to check options for his future," and that he was suspended across all competitions until the end of the season. After the third division relegation, the termination of his contract followed in spring 2019 and the Albanian signed a two-year contract with the southwest regional division 1. FC Saarbrücken .
