Tobias Jänicke (born March 16, 1989 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German football player who is used as a two-footed offensive player, especially in the outer positions in midfield . He has been playing for 1. FC Saarbrücken since summer 2017 .

Career

Youth in Neubrandenburg and Rostock

The midfielder Jänicke began his football career in 1994 in his hometown with SV Tollense Neubrandenburg , which was absorbed by FC Tollense Neubrandenburg in 1999. In 2003 Jänicke moved to the youth department of Hansa Rostock , where he first played in the C-youth .

From 2004 Jänicke played as a B-youth with Hansa in the B-youth regional league under coach Thomas Finck . As runner-up in their season, the team reached the final round of the 2005 B-Junior Championship , but lost to Hertha BSC in the final . Subsequently, Jänicke played another year for Hansa's B-youth in the regional league, with the team again becoming runner-up in their season, but retired early in the 2006 finals. Occasionally, Jänicke was also called up for Hansa's A-Jugend during this time, who played in the U-19 Bundesliga in the 2005/06 season . In 2006/07 and 2007/08 Jänicke was also a member of the Rostock A-youth group, so that he finally completed a total of 41 games in the highest A-youth division.

Jänicke at Hansa Rostock

As an A-youth, Jänicke was also promoted to the men's division in the 2007/08 season of the Oberliga Nordost and had scored three goals in 22 appearances for Hansa's second substitute, who was now trained by Thomas Finck. He had a significant share in the Rostock's ascent into the regional league , which was only fourth class as a result of the introduction of a third division from 2008/09 .

In preparation for the 2008/09 season of the 2nd Bundesliga , in which Hansa's first team was relegated in summer 2008, Jänicke benefited from injuries to other players and took part in the training camp of the licensed team, where he performed well for a promotion to Frank Pagelsdorf recommended trained first team. However, he was still used exclusively for Hansa's second representation in the regional league and was completely transferred back to the second team at the end of September 2008. With this he then managed to stay in the regional league, which Jänicke recommended again for the Rostock licensing team.

Under Andreas Zachhuber , who is now acting as Hansa coach, Jänicke completed the preparation for the 2009/10 second division season and made his competitive debut for Rostock's licensed team in the first round of the 2009/10 DFB Cup on July 31, 2009 . Subsequently, Jänicke extended his contract with FC Hansa until 2011 and developed into a regular player in Rostock's professional team, for which he scored four goals in 30 second division games in 2009/10. In addition, Jänicke was able to recommend himself through his performances in Rostock for the U-20 national team, for which he made his debut on April 7, 2010 against Italy. With Hansa, however, he finished 16th in the table at the end of the season, which obliged to two relegation games against Ingolstadt . This lost Rostock and thus rose for the first time in the club's history in the 3rd division , which is why Jänicke's contract also lost its validity.

Jänicke then signed a new one-year contract for the 2010/11 season and established himself with 37 out of 38 possible games and nine goals as a high performer in the midfield of the Hansa, which made him the player of the month in the third division in August. Finally, under coach Peter Vollmann , Hansa achieved direct promotion as second in the final table , which Jänicke also played a key role in and thus attracted the interest of various Bundesliga clubs. Nevertheless, Jänicke soon extended his contract with Hansa for another two years until summer 2013. In addition, Jänicke won the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Cup with Hansa this season .

For the second division season 2011/12 Jänicke was then considered a designated top performer in the Rostock team, but could not repeat his performances from the previous season. Although Jänicke played the most missions of all Hansa players with 32 games this season, he only completed nine of these missions over the full season. Jänicke was initially a regular under Vollmann, but after the first quarter of the season he was only used as a substitute. After Rostock had replaced coach Vollmann with Wolfgang Wolf after the end of the first half of the season due to the threat of relegation , the latter put him back on the starting line-up, but finally renounced Jänicke's participation in the game against Union Berlin on the penultimate matchday, which finally sealed the relegation . As a result of relegation, Janicke's contract with Hansa again lost its validity, but, unlike two years earlier, he did not receive a new contract offer.

Change to Dynamo Dresden

In July 2012, Jänicke completed a trial training session at the second division club FSV Frankfurt , which was trained by Benno Möhlmann , but this did not result in the player being signed by the Hessian club. At the end of August 2012, Jänicke then signed a two-year contract with Dynamo Dresden , which will also take part in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2012/13 season under coach Ralf Loose .

Farewell to Dresden and move to SV Wehen Wiesbaden

After only one season with 19 games, Jänicke announced that he would leave Dynamo Dresden for free at the end of the 2012/13 season and join SV Wehen Wiesbaden . In the third division he was set as a regular player; in his first season he completed 37 league games and scored ten goals. The 2013/14 season ended Wehen Wiesbaden in fourth place, but with a clear point gap to the promotion ranks. In the following season 2014/15 Jänicke scored eight goals, but the team - after a good first half of the season and a temporary lead in the table - weakened in the second half and ended up in midfield.

Return to Hansa Rostock

After two years at SV Wehen Wiesbaden, Jänicke decided to leave the club again. He made a change within the league and returned to his youth club Hansa Rostock. There he signed a contract until June 30, 2018. However, this, with the silence of both sides, was terminated prematurely in June 2017 and Jänicke and Hansa went their separate ways. Jänicke completed a total of 175 competitive games in his career as a footballer for the Kogge and scored a total of 26 goals for Rostock.
