Antoine Adelisse (born June 10, 1996 in Nantes ) is a French freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines halfpipe , slopestyle and big air .

Career

Adelisse, who competes for CS La Plagne, first took part in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Jyväskylä in February 2012 and finished 39th in Slopestyle. At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in 2013 in Voss , he was fifth in slopestyle and at the Junior World Championships in 2013 in Chiesa in Valmalenco, he came 14th in slopestyle and 12th in the halfpipe. The following year he came in Sochi in his first Olympic participation in 2014 on the 27th place and in the Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco on the fifth place in slopestyle. At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2015 on Kreischberg he finished 22nd and at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada he finished fifth in Slopestyle. In the 2016/17 season he achieved four top ten placements, including second place in the Big Air in Voss, and ninth place in the Big Air World Cup. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished 30th in slopestyle and at the 2019 World Championships in Park City, he took 43rd place in slopestyle and 24th place in big air. After 33rd and 23rd place in big air at the beginning of the season In 2019/20 he came second in Big Air in Atlanta and was French champion in this discipline in Les Arcs . At the Winter X Games 2020 in Aspen , he finished fourth in the Big Air. At the end of February 2020, he won his first World Cup victory in the Big Air in Deštné and then finished 23rd in the overall World Cup and third in the Big Air World Cup. At the X-Games Norway 2020 in Hafjell , he won the gold medal in Big Air. He also finished seventh in Slopestyle.
