Anton Pointecker

Anton Pointecker (born April 16, 1938 in Wildenau ( Aspach municipality ) in the Innviertel , Upper Austria ; † July 7, 2008 in Ulm ) was an Austrian actor .

Life

Anton Pointecker completed his acting training at the Anton Bruckner Conservatory in Linz . After a few appearances at the Salzburg State Theater , he belonged to the theater ensembles of Ulm and Nuremberg . He was a guest at the Salzburg Festival , where he was on stage under the direction of Otto Schenk , Johannes Schaaf and Rudolf Noelte . In addition to engagements at the Munich Volkstheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt , he was engaged in the comedy at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich .

Anton Pointecker achieved greater fame as a television actor. He has appeared in numerous crime series (including Tatort , Der Bulle von Tölz ) and has appeared in many entertainment series and television films. TV dramas (including the 2001 film about the life story of Vera Brühne ) were also part of his repertoire. In recent years he has often been seen in dialect roles and television productions with a Bavarian flair. Pointecker was also part of the cast of the BR home series Dahoam is Dahoam , which Bavarian television has been broadcasting four days a week since October 2007, in the evening program as a so-called "Daily Soap"; he shot 180 episodes. He was also considered a talented Nestroy actor.

Anton Pointecker died of complications from cancer . He was buried in his home town of Aspach.
