Anton Rattinger

Anton Rattinger (* 1951 in Möderbrugg , Styria ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

He completed his acting training at the Max-Reinhardt-Schule für Schauspiel in Berlin , he also graduated as a psychologist from the Technical University of Berlin in 1983 and completed dance training in musical and jazz .

Since 1975 Rattinger can be seen in many roles on different stages, for example as Edgar Wibeau in The New Sorrows of Young W. , as Fritz Bernady in Pension Schöller or most recently as Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady . Rattinger played on the major musical stages in the Theater an der Wien and the Theater des Westens, he played various leading roles, and was also seen in numerous film and television productions, for example in Herbert Ballmann's Der Havelkaiser alongside Günter Pfitzmann . He also acted several times in the crime series Tatort and Polizeiruf 110 and was seen in many feature films, including international productions, such as Tödliches Erbe , Karniggels , Te Rua or liebeskind . He was also a guest lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts , spoke roles in radio plays and has been involved in solo projects such as musical and literary programs since 2001, where he appears at international festivals with the melodramas by Richard Strauss .

Rattinger worked in world premieres of modern musical compositions with the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg and has been teaching the subjects of drama and scenic-musical representation at various departments of state art schools for many years.
