Blinde Liebe is a German television film by Sherry Hormann from the year 2000. It is the 8th film in the ZDF crime series Bella Block .

action

A woman's body is recovered from the Alster . The dead woman had been lying in the water for months and can only be identified by a star-shaped fire mark . It's about Barbara Seidlitz, a young student. According to the files, she was the plaintiff against Wolfgang Krauss, who, according to her statements, had raped her. Krauss only received a suspended sentence and now works as a taxi driver. Inspector Bella Block meets with the taciturn man and feels that he is still dangerous. She also contacts his attractive partner Christa Knopp, who cares very intensely and lovingly for Biggi, her mentally handicapped younger sister, who lives with her. The three of them seem like a small family who get on well with each other. Christa also seems to be jealous and tries to keep Wolfgang in a good mood. However, this is currently clouded when Ruth Dirke, the friend of the dead, shows up with them and claims that Barbara kept a diary and made a few notes about Krauss there. In an argument about it, he seriously injures Dirke, who then has to be hospitalized. Bella Block looks for her there and learns that Krauss has messed her up like that. An arrest warrant is issued against Krauss immediately. When accessing Christa Knopp's house, the officers discover that a small private sex party is being held here and that both Christa and her sister Biggi are prostituting themselves. Bella Block is shocked and suspects that Barbara Seidlitz had to die because she found out about Krauss' machinations. The accused denies this and Christa Knopp holds "blind love" for him. In the end it turns out that she had killed Barbara Seidlitz out of jealousy. Krauss has to answer in court for the attempted murder of Ruth Dirke.
