Antonio Colturato

Antonio Colturato OFMCap (born March 21, 1886 in Boschi Sant'Anna , Province of Verona , Italy ; † May 5, 1946 ) was an Italian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Botucatu .

Life

Antonio Colturato joined the religious order of the Capuchin in and received on 6 March 1909, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 2, 1929, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Uberaba . The Archbishop of São Paulo , Leopoldo Duarte e Silva , donated him episcopal ordination on October 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Campinas , Francisco de Campos Barreto , and the Bishop of Sorocaba , José Carlos de Aguirre .

On April 12, 1938, Pius XI appointed him. to the Bishop of Botucatu.
