Antropowo ( Russian Антропово ) is a settlement (possjolok) in the Kostroma Oblast ( Russia ) with 3598 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010). It is located on the Trans-Siberian Railway (route km 546 from Moscow ).
From 1970 until 2002 the place had the status of an urban-type settlement . The village is the administrative center of the Antropowo Rajons (district).
In Antropowo there is a memorial museum for the army general Michail Malinin (1899–1960) who was born there .
