Araklı is a Turkish coastal city on the Black Sea and a district in Trabzon Province . The city is located about 30 km east of the provincial capital Trabzon at the mouth of the Karadere River .
Araklı County borders on Gümüşhane Province in the south .
Araklıspor has been home to the football club Araklıspor since it was founded in 1961 and currently (2013/14 season) plays in the regional amateur league.
