Argyre (Gradfeld)

The Argyre - degree field one of the 30 degree field of Mars . They were established by the United States Geological Survey ( USGS ). The number is MC-26, the degree field covers the area from 0 ° to 60 ° west longitude and from −65 ° to −30 ° south latitude . It contains the bile crater that is reminiscent of a smiley face . The name comes from one of the names for the "silver island" at the mouth of the Ganges , now called Arakan.
