Mare Tyrrhenum (Gradfeld)

The Mare Tyrrhenum - degree field is one of the 30 degree fields of Mars . They were established by the United States Geological Survey ( USGS ). The number is MC-22, the degree field covers the area from 225 ° to 270 ° west longitude and from −30 ° to 0 ° south latitude . Giovanni Schiaparelli named the area after the Tyrrhenian Sea .
