Eridania (Gradfeld)

The Eridania - degree field one of the 30 degree field of Mars . They were established by the United States Geological Survey ( USGS ). The number is MC-29, the degree field covers the area from 180 ° to 240 ° west longitude and from −65 ° to −30 ° south latitude .

Large parts of Terra Cimmeria are located within the degree field. The name comes from an albedo feature in the area of Eridania Planitia, which in turn was named from an area near the pos .
