Arabia (Gradfeld)

The Arabia - degree field one of the 30 degree field of Mars . They were established by the United States Geological Survey ( USGS ). The number is MC-12, the degree field covers the area from 315 ° to 360 ° west longitude and from 0 ° to 30 ° south latitude .

The Gradfeld contains parts of Arabia Terra and Terra Sabaea , it lies on the border between the northern plains and the southern highlands. The name comes from an albedo feature on Mars, the area was named after a country that bordered on ancient Egypt .
