Arp 314 is an interacting galaxy trio in the constellation Aquarius, which is an estimated 170 million light years from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy triplet belongs to the class of galaxy groups .
