Arp 324 = VV 159 is an interacting group of galaxies in the constellation Hercules, an estimated 500 million light years from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This group of galaxies belongs to the class chains of galaxies .
