Arp 329 = HCG 55 is an interacting group of galaxies in the constellation Dragon, an estimated 700 million light years away from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This group of galaxies belongs to the class chains of galaxies .
