Arp 334 = UGC 8498 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Hounds , which is about 355 million light years away from the Milky Way. Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class Various (Arp catalog) .
