UGC 5832 = Arp 291 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB in the constellation Leo, which is an estimated 50 million light years away from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy pair belongs to the class galaxies with wind effects .
