NGC 935 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type Sc in the constellation ram on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 189 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly. Together with IC 1801 , it forms the interactive pair of galaxies Arp 276 .
Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This pair of galaxies belongs to the class of interacting double galaxies .
The galaxy belongs to the NGC 932 group with NGC 924 , NGC 930 , and NGC 938 .
The Type Ib Supernova SN 2006F was observed here.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on September 18, 1885 .
