Arthur Taxier

Arthur Taxier (born January 19, 1951 in Glasgow , Scotland ) is a British actor .

Life

Taxier began his career in 1980 with a small supporting role in the American television production Breath of Death . In the 1980s he made guest appearances on numerous successful television series, such as Knight Rider , Simon & Simon , The A-Team , Remington Steele and Trio with Four Fists . From 1984 to 1985 he played the recurring supporting role of Mike Harris in Falcon Crest , between 1982 and 1987 he was Lt. Jim Shipman seen in 18 episodes of Hill Street Police Station . He had another recurring role from 1983 to 1988 in chief physician Dr. Westphall as Dr. Morton Chegley . He played his best-known television role between 1988 and 1991 alongside Gary Cole in Der Nachtfalke , where he was Lt. Carl Zymak portrayed. His television career lasted until the early 2000s.

Taxier also played in a number of Hollywood productions, but mostly in minor supporting roles such as The Falcon and the Snowman and The Mexican . He had a slightly larger supporting role in 2001 in the drama Donnie Darko as Dr. Don Fisher .
