Asakura ( Japanese 朝 倉 郡 , - gun ) is a district in Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan .

As of October 1, 2019, it had 31,420 inhabitants on an area of ​​119.11 km². The only two parishes are the small town of Chikuzen and the village of Tōhō .
