Tachiarai ( Japanese 大刀 洗 町 , - machi ) is a city in Mii-gun in the Japanese prefecture of Fukuoka .
history
On March 31, 1955, the Mura Tachiarai ( 大刀 洗 村 , -mura ), Hongō ( 本 郷 村 , -mura ) and Ōseki ( 大 堰村 , -mura ) merged to form Machi Tachiarai.
