Nakagawa ( Japanese 那 珂川 市 , Nakagawa- shi ) is an independent city in the Japanese prefecture of Fukuoka . Until October 1, 2018, it was a Nakagawa- machi ( 那 珂川 町 ) town in Chikushi County .
The Nakagawa community has 50,275 residents (as of October 1, 2016). The area is 74.99 km² and the population density is about 670 people per km².
