The Associação Desportiva Confiança , or ADC for short , is a Brazilian football club from Aracaju in the state of Sergipe . He currently plays in the second highest division in Brazil .

history

The workers' club was initially founded as a basketball and volleyball club until a football department was set up in 1949, which quickly rose to become one of the leading teams in the state. Today, with twenty championship titles, the ADC is the first local rival of the traditional CS Sergipe club .

In the national championship of Brazil , the ADC has been regularly represented in all leagues since the 1960s, until the fall from the Série D in 2010. The national championship in 2014 qualified the club again for the Série D, which he finished in fourth place in the table in the same year and was thus promoted to the Série C.
