Atheer Adel (born June 24, 1985 in Baghdad , Iraq ) is a German actor and musician of Iraqi descent. He gained international fame primarily through his role as Numan in the US television series Homeland , in which he was seen in the fifth season in 2015.

Atheer Adel came to Germany with his family from the Iraqi capital Baghdad as a child.
