Location of Augustenfelde in Brandenburg

Augustenfelde is a residential area in the Herzsprung district of the city of Angermünde in the Uckermark district (Brandenburg). The residential area was laid out as a Vorwerk before 1885, and was significantly expanded after the Second World War.

location

The living space is in the Herzsprung district. It has expanded further south from the original homestead (Augustenfelde 7 and 8) along the Augustenfelde road, so that today two main settlement areas have emerged that are approx. 500 meters apart. The original homestead of this name is approx. 2.2 km northeast of the center of Herzsprung, and approx. 2.8 km south of the old town of Angermünde. The Augustenfelde road branches south of the city center of Angermünde from the B 158, which continues to Bad Freienwalde, to the south. The original living space is 58  m above sea level. NHN , the two settlement centers are a little higher by 60 m above sea level).

history

Around / before 1885 the original homestead (Augustenfelde 7 and 8) was built, which is named Augustenfelde in the parish dictionary of 1888. It belonged to the parish of Herzsprung. The topographic map 1: 25,000 No. 3050 of the new recording from 1926/27 shows the homestead, but without the name. In 1927, 1931 and 1939 Augustenfelde is known as Vorwerk. In 1931 and 1957 Augustenfelde was a residential area, and in 1964 and 1971 it was part of Herzsprung.

In 1914 the Augustenfelde estate had a total size of 102 hectares, of which 85 hectares were arable, 16 hectares were meadows and 1 hectare was unland, farmland and paths. The property tax net income amounted to 1125 marks. There were 10 horses and 45 cattle on the farm, including 30 dairy cows. The owner was Friedrich Zehm. Clearly different numbers are given in the Handbook of Landing in the German Empire. Province of Brandenburg from 1921. According to this information, the total size was 101 hectares, of which 87 hectares were arable, 10 hectares were meadows, 1 hectare of forest, 2 hectares of land and 1 hectare of water. The net income from property tax is only estimated at 800 marks. The property was owned by an NN Korth. In contrast, Niekammer's Agricultural Goods Address Book of the Province of Brandenburg from 1923 gives the same numbers as 1914 (only taken from the older edition unchanged?). An NN Wittstock is now recorded as the owner.

In 1929 the estate belonged to Wilhelm Wölter. The total size had grown to 115 hectares, 104 hectares of which were arable, 10 hectares of meadows, 1 hectare of unland, farmland and paths. The numbers for the animal population were taken from the older edition of 1914 and 1921 unchanged and are probably incorrect. The property tax net income is also unchanged from 1914 at 1125 marks.

The property was expropriated in the land reform of 1948 and distributed to new farmers. In the course of the collectivization of agriculture, an LPG was created , which was later connected to the LPG in Angermünde. In 1977 the LPG Angermünde had a branch in Augustenfelde.

Herzsprung was incorporated into the city of Angermünde on October 26, 2003 and has been part of Angermünde ever since. Augustenfelde has the municipal status of a place to live.
