The Spreading lady's mantle ( Alchemilla effusa ), also flat sheet female coat called, is a plant from the genus lady's mantle ( Alchemilla ) within the family of Rosaceae (Rosaceae).

description

The spreading lady's mantle is an herbaceous plant that reaches heights of growth of 5 to 50 centimeters. The stems are hairy on the lower three to four internodes like the leaf stalks, lying close to or slightly protruding ( indument ). The basal leaves are up to 10 cm wide, mostly round, with a closed basal bay , flat and 9 or 11, rarely 13-lobed. The leaf lobes are semicircular to parabolic . The upper side of the leaf is bare and the underside of the leaf is usually only hairy on the nerve endings ( trichomes ).

Occurrence

The spreading lady's mantle occurs almost in the entire Alps , furthermore in the Cevennes , in the French and southern Swiss Jura , in the Apennines and in the Dinarides ; it is also rarely found in the northern foothills of the Alps , in the Bavarian Forest , in the Ore Mountains and in the Sudetes .

The spreading lady's mantle thrives from the high-montane to the subalpine altitude range . He settled source and herb vegetation , stream edges, moist to trickle leaving , kurzrasige or patchy meadows and pastures .

Systematics

The first description of Alchemilla effusa was made in 1895 by Robert Buser in New Denkschr. General Switzerland. Total natural science , Volume 34, p. 128. A synonym for Alchemilla effusa Buser is Alchemilla effusiformis S.E.Fröhner , Alchemilla ursina S.E.Fröhner , Alchemilla reniformis subsp. ursina (SEFröhner) Plocek . Alchemilla effusa belongs to the Alchemilla section from the Alchemilla genus .
