The Australian National Women's Volleyball Team is a selection of the best Australian women players who represent the Australia Volleyball Federation at international tournaments and internationals.

history

World Championship

At the volleyball world championship in 1982 Australia finished twelfth. Twenty years later it was only enough for 21st place at the 2002 World Cup.

Olympic games

At the 2000 Games in Sydney , the host was the only time at the Olympic tournament and finished ninth.

Asian Championship

The first Asian Cup took place in Australia in 1975 and the hosts finished fourth. The same result came four years later. After that, the Australian women finished seventh three times. From 1991 to 2001 they reached sixth place four times, only in 1993 (tenth) and 1997 (seventh) they were worse. In the last three tournaments they finished ninth, tenth and eighth.

World cup

Australia has never played in the World Cup .

World Grand Prix

The World Grand Prix has so far taken place without Australian participation.
