The Landstuhl-West motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Landstuhl-West ; short form: Landstuhl-West cross ) is a motorway junction in Rhineland-Palatinate , which is located near Kaiserslautern . This is where the federal motorway 6 ( Saarbrücken - Mannheim - Nuremberg ) ( Europastraße 50 ) and the federal motorway 62 ( Nonnweiler - Pirmasens ) intersect . In 1990 it was also part of the main route of Aktion Lindwurm .
geography
The cross is in the area of the municipality of Ramstein-Miesenbach . The surrounding cities and communities are Landstuhl , Hütschenhausen , Hauptstuhl and Langwieden . It is located about 50 km northeast of Saarbrücken, about 25 km north of Pirmasens and about 15 km west of Kaiserslautern.
The Landstuhl-West motorway junction is number 10 on the A 62 and number 12 on the A 6.
State of development
Just like the A 62, the A 6 has two lanes in this area. All transitions are single-lane.
The cross is laid out in the shape of a clover. It has a double junction on the A 62 ( Landstuhl-West ).
Traffic volume
