The Oberpfälzer Wald motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Oberpfälzer Wald ; short form: Kreuz Oberpfälzer Wald ) is a motorway junction in Bavaria , which is located near Weiden in the Upper Palatinate . This is where the federal motorway 6 ( Saarbrücken - Mannheim - Nuremberg ) ( Europastraße 50 ) and the federal motorway 93 ( Hof - Regensburg - Kufstein ) cross.
geography
The cross is located both in the area of the Wernberg-Köblitz market and in the area of the town of Pfreimd . It is located about 90 km west of Pilsen , about 80 km east of Nuremberg and about 55 km north of Regensburg. It is located directly on the banks of the Naab , which both motorways cross with bridges. It is located in the middle of the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park .
The Oberpfälzer Wald motorway junction is number 28 on the A 93 and number 70 on the A 6.
State of development
Just like the A 93, the A 6 has two lanes in this area. All transitions are single-lane.
The cross is laid out in the shape of a clover.
