Terra Indígena Escrivão
Although Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva handed over land to the indigenous Mundurukus in the Amazon region in 2004, not all protected areas have yet been declared. The Terra Indígena Escrivão is located in the territory of Aveiro , about which no details are available as of 2019. Aveiro local authorities had refused to civilly register indigenous people without proper documentation. This should be enforced in court.
