Life

Baal Müller studied German and Philosophy in Heidelberg from October 1990 to September 1992 and in Tübingen from October 1992 (1998 Magister Artium). In 2004 he started with Gotthart Wunberg with the dissertation Kosmik. Process ontology and temporal poetics with Ludwig Klages and Alfred Schuler. On the philosophy and poetry of the Schwabinger Cosmic Round for Dr. phil. PhD. In 2002 he took over Telesma-Verlag , which he sold to the publisher Uwe Lammla at the beginning of 2015, who is now running it as the imprint of his Arnshaugk Verlag.

Müller's scientific and journalistic focuses are the Munich cosmologist Alfred Schuler , whose complete works he re-edited from the estate in 2007 and analyzed extensively, and Ludwig Klages , as well as Franziska zu Reventlow and Stefan George . His main interest is the reception of mythical thought in modern times and the relationship between religion and philosophy. Reflections on Alfred Schuler between esotericism and emphatic modernism were published by Springer in an anthology on mysticism and esotericism in modern literature. In 2005 Müller published a literary revision of the Nibelungenlied , which particularly emphasizes its pagan-Germanic features and the relationship to the Edda . In his programmatic essay What is Neopaganism? ( Heidnisches Jahrbuch 2006) he sketched the basics of a neo-pagan philosophy.

From 1998 to 2013 he wrote for the weekly newspaper Junge Freiheit , from 2009 he also published regular columns in its online edition. Since 2004 Müller has also been working as a translator from English; u. a. He translated books by Marija Gimbutas , Thomas Berry , Stephen Flowers and Thomas PM Barnett into German.

In 2009 his book Der Vorsprung der Besiegten was published , in which he analyzed German identity after 1945.

Müller, a prominent representative of the New Right , was a speaker at the Institute for State Policy (IfS) and since 2007 occasional author of the magazine Sezession published by the IfS and from 2009 to 2011 also blogger for Sezession in the net . He gave lectures and readings in pagan and Buddhist associations as well as at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. He is a member of the Munich Institute for Natural Philosophical Practice and of the Klages Society Marbach / Neckar . In 2013 he published the novel Pascal Ormunait - A German Justice Novel by Björn Clemens , a conservative and right-wing lawyer , in which he criticizes the unequal treatment of German and foreign criminals. On January 26, 2015, he appeared as a speaker in front of the PEGIDA spin- off DÜGIDA in Düsseldorf. On October 26, 2015, he spoke as a speaker at the Pegida rally on Dresden's Theaterplatz. Müller is close to the AfD , for whose faction in the Bavarian state parliament he works. The Süddeutsche Zeitung reported in 2019 that Müller gave a public speech at a rally in 2017 in Dresden, in which he denied the "equality of all religions", accused Chancellor Angela Merkel of totalitarian efforts and claimed that the government was planning to "destroy and dissolve" the German people.

In November 2016, Arnshaugk published his collection of poems Wendische Fahrt , which traces the historical and mythological legacy of the Elbe and Baltic Sea Slavs as well as the Sorbs , looks at the once Slavic culture of East Germany as a whole and an "Easternization" of Germany, an "East German Pan-Slavism", should serve, since West Germany and Western Europe would perish from their multiculturalism. The book contains lyrical arrangements of legends such as Krabat , deals with Slavic deities such as Svantovite and Triglaw and mixes own experiences with the new appropriation of mythological traditions. Müller himself claims to have found his spiritual home with Wendish (West Slavonic) paganism . Together with Richard Bígl, he runs a website that is dedicated to this religion.
