Badischbruch

The Badischbruch nature reserve is located in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 19 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1987 , extends southwest of the local community of Bruchweiler . District road 52 runs to the west and the Langweiler Bach flows, while state road 162 runs to the east .
The protection purpose is the preservation of the alder quarry at the foot of a stony quartzite slope as a site of rare wild plants and plant communities that are threatened in their existence.
