The Fischbacher Felsen nature reserve is located in the Birkenfeld district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The 47.8 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1987 , extends northwest of the Fischbach community along the Fischbach , which flows on the southern edge, and the L 160 state road, which runs on the southern edge .

The purpose of protection is to secure the mountain slope with its rocky areas in order to preserve endangered plants and plant communities, for scientific reasons and because of its special character and outstanding beauty.
