Badminton World Championship 1995
The 9th Badminton World Championship took place in Lausanne , Switzerland , from May 22nd to 28th, 1995 in the Patinoire de Malley . The gold medal in the men's singles went to the Indonesian Heryanto Arbi , in the women the Chinese Ye Zhaoying . Denmark emerged as the most successful country with six medals won, while Indonesia won two out of five possible titles.
