The station Dieren is a separation station in Dieren in the Dutch province of Gelderland and maintenance of intercity trains on. It lies on the Arnhem – Leeuwarden railway line and is the starting point of the Dieren – Apeldoorn railway line , which is used as a museum railway .

The Dieren station was opened on February 2, 1865, the day the Arnhem – Zutphen section went into operation, under the name Dieren-Doesburg , which it carried until May 30, 1976. The first station building was designed by the Dutch architect Karel Hendrik van Brederode when he was employed by the state spoor routes . In 1902 the station was rebuilt, with a station building with two shelters being built on a new central platform . The first building was demolished in 1944. After the Dieren – Apeldoorn line had been closed on August 1, 1950, the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij began operating a museum railway in 1975 , which is operated by steam locomotives . In 2017, a new pedestrian bridge was built at the station on behalf of ProRail . In 2018, the project took part in the competition for the Nationale Staalprij and the BNA Beste Gebouw van het Jaar .
