The Seregno – Bergamo railway is a railway line in Lombardy .

The route was built according to the Baccarini law and opened on November 20, 1888. The aim was to connect the city of Bergamo to the Gotthard Railway feeder railway line Chiasso – Milano .

To put the line into operation, the Ponte San Michele was built, an imposing two-story bridge near Paderno d'Adda , over which the trains run on the lower level and the cars on the upper level.

Between Carnate and Bergamo operate regional trains Milan -Carnate-Bergamo from Trenord in hourly clock traffic . Shuttle trains run every hour between Seregno and Carnate.
