The Oceania Basketball Championship for women 2005 , the eleventh Oceania Basketball Championship for women , took place between August 24 and 28, 2005 in Auckland , Napier and Palmerston , New Zealand , which hosted the championship for the sixth time. The winner was the team from Australia , which could win the title for the tenth time. In the series New Zealand could be beaten 3-0.
